Merging Stakeholders:

1/  Search for 'Find Stakeholder' where 'Duplicate Name' (or 'Duplicate Organisation').

Once this search is applied, you will see a list of duplicate records.

NOTE: It is very important to merge just one set of duplicates at a time, as when you click "Merge", all selected Stakeholders will be merged into one record.

2/ If you have multiple Stakeholders with the same name, and you are sure they are the same person, select all duplicated records by ctrl-clicking them in the Search grid. This will highlight them in blue.

3/  Select 'Merge' from the options on the right above the search grid.  Once merging is complete, the merged Stakeholder will be opened for your review.

Points to note:

1/  If you have differing addresses or phone numbers the merged record will use the details of the Stakeholder you selected first.
2/  All notes fields will be added and appended to the merged Stakeholder's record.
3/  All Event, Property, Action, Document, Stakeholder Group and other linkages will be preserved.

Merging Properties:

1/  Search for 'Find Property' where 'Duplicate' to find duplicate Property Addresses. Properties to merge will be grouped together.

Once this search is applied, you will see a list of duplicate records.

NOTE: It is very important to merge just one set of duplicates at a time, as when you click "Merge", all selected Properties will be merged into one record.

2/  If you have multiple Properties with the same address and you are sure they are the same Property, select all duplicated records by ctrl-clicking them in the Search grid. This will highlight them in blue.

3/  Select 'Merge' from the options on the right above the search grid.  Once merging is complete, the merged Property will be opened for your review.

Points to note:

1/  If you have differing details in Property Number, Property Name or Property Reference, the merged record will use the details of the Property you selected first.
2/  All notes fields will all be added and appended to the merged Property's record.
3/  All Event, Stakeholder, Action, Document, Property Group and other linkages will be preserved.
