How to interpret the data in a Statistics Report

Note that this discussion looks at the first table: Issues Raised.

Events column - the number of events in which each individual issue was raised in the time period.

Distinct stakeholders - the number of unique stakeholders (individuals) who participated in events in which these issues were raised.  One stakeholder can participate in more than one event, so its possible for the distinct column to be less than the events column.

Total Stakeholders - the total number of participants in events in which these issues were raised.  As one stakeholder can participate in more than one event, the 'total' column will always be greater than or equal to the 'distinct' column.

Total Event Search - this shows the total number of events occurring in the time period, the total number of distinct stakeholders and total stakeholders participating in these events.  Since it's possible for an event to have more than one issue raised (or no issues raised), this row will not necessarily be equal to the sum of the rows above.  Also, if only showing the top 5, 10 or 20 results, this row will still show the total for all events, not just the top 5, 10 or 20.
